Your organization

Branding, your home page, your domain, payments, and your staff.

How do I change my logo and colors?

Open Admin → Organization → Branding. The logo saves as soon as you pick the file. Colors save when you press Save colors.

  1. Under Logo, choose a file: PNG, WebP or JPEG, up to 1 MB. A square logo on a transparent background looks best.
  2. Under Colors, set Dark (navigation and headers), Primary (buttons and links) and Accent (highlights and section rules) as six-digit hex codes, like #34b0e5.
  3. Check the Preview, then press Save colors.
  • Your logo shows at the top left of every public page and of the admin bar, next to your organization's name. Without one, a plain ball icon sits there.
  • Replace logo swaps in a new file, and Remove logo takes it off.
  • Your logo can also be a link to one hosted elsewhere, under "Or link to a logo hosted elsewhere". The link has to start with https://.
  • Error messages, conflict warnings and Delete buttons stay red whatever colors you pick.
  • Button text switches between black and white to stay readable on your Primary color.

Can I rearrange or rename the admin menu?

Yes. Open Admin → Organization → Admin menu, or press Edit this menu at the bottom of the menu itself. Every admin in your organization sees the same menu.

  1. Use the arrows to move a group, or a page within its group. A page at the top of a group moves up into the group above it.
  2. Type a new name over any group or page, like Programs or Players.
  3. Press Save menu.
  • Every page stays in the menu. You can move pages and rename them, not hide them.
  • A name left blank goes back to the default. Names can be up to 24 characters.
  • A group with no pages left is hidden until you move a page back into it.
  • Reset to default puts the menu back the way LaceUp ships it.
  • On a phone, the menu is behind the Menu button under the top bar.

What is the join panel photo?

Visitors who have not joined your organization see a panel on your home page inviting them to make a free account. The photo sits beside it. Without one, the panel is text only.

  1. Open Admin → Organization → Branding.
  2. Under Join panel photo, upload a landscape group photo under 1 MB (JPEG or WebP).
  • The home page shows a new photo within a few minutes.
  • The panel also shows how many people have played with you. Members who are signed in see a welcome back instead.

How do I build my home page?

Open Admin → Organization → Home page. Fill in the sections you want, hide the rest, put them in order, and press Publish. Until you publish, your address opens on your tournament list.

  1. Tick Show on each section you want: Hero, About, What we run, Who runs it, Join panel and Contact. Untick it to hide one.
  2. Use ↑ and ↓ to put them in order.
  3. Add up to two Custom text sections with "+ Add a custom text section".
  4. Press Save draft to keep your work. Preview ↗ saves and opens the draft full width.
  5. Press Publish. Your front page shows it within a minute.
  • What we run holds up to 6 cards for things other than tournaments and seasons, such as open gyms or clinics. Your live and upcoming events appear under them on their own.
  • Who runs it holds up to 12 people with a name, role and photo.
  • Contact takes an email and links to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Discord and your website.
  • The Hero photo is also the image when your page is shared in a message or on social media.
  • Photos are PNG, WebP or JPEG, under 1 MB.
  • Take down puts your tournament list back on the front page and keeps the draft. The tournament list always has its own page at /tournaments.
  • Edits you have not saved are kept in your browser. If you reload, the editor offers Restore my edits.

How do I invite staff?

An owner opens Admin → Organization → Staff, enters the person's email, picks admin or owner, and presses Invite. The invitation is emailed and expires in 14 days.

  1. Open Admin → Organization → Staff.
  2. Enter their email and pick a role: admin or owner.
  3. Press Invite. The page also shows the invitation link, so you can send it yourself.
  • The person signs in, or creates an account, with the invited address, then presses Join.
  • The invitation page names the account that will join, so nobody joins as the wrong login by accident.
  • Joining never lowers anyone's role, and your organization always keeps at least one owner.
  • Pending invitations are listed under "Invited, not yet accepted". An owner can Revoke one.

How do I remove someone from staff?

An owner opens Admin → Organization → Staff and presses Remove on their row. They lose admin access right away.

  1. Open Admin → Organization → Staff.
  2. Find them in the list and press Remove.
  3. Confirm.
  • Only an owner sees Remove. An admin can invite nobody and remove nobody.
  • Your organization always keeps at least one owner. Removing the last one is refused, so make someone else an owner first.
  • Removing someone takes away their access. It does not delete their login, their registrations or their payment history.
  • Your own row reads Leave. Using it signs you out of the organization.
  • To take a player off, use their player page instead. Staff and players come off in different places on purpose.

How do I use my own domain?

An owner opens Admin → Organization → Domain, adds the hostname, and creates the DNS records the page lists. Once they check out, that hostname is your address.

  1. Open Admin → Organization → Domain.
  2. Enter the hostname, such as leagues.yourdomain.com, and press Add domain.
  3. Add the records in the table at whoever manages your domain's DNS.
  4. Wait on the page. It re-checks every 20 seconds and shows Live when the domain is ready.
  • Your <address>.laceuphq.com address keeps working.
  • Stop using this domain sends your organization back to its laceuphq.com address, and links on the old name stop working.
  • If the page says self-serve domains aren't switched on yet, email contact@laceuphq.com and LaceUp sets it up for you.

How do payments work?

Card checkout is built and switched off for now. When a registration has a price, LaceUp saves it as Pending payment and tells the player you will contact them to complete payment. Collect payment the way you do today.

  • A free registration is confirmed straight away.
  • Account credit covers a registration or membership without a card. When a player's credit covers the whole price, the registration is confirmed.
  • Admin → Organization → Payments is where an owner will connect your organization's own Stripe account. If it says payouts aren't switched on yet, there is nothing to do there.

What are Organizations, Signup codes and Early access?

They are LaceUp's own pages for running the platform. They appear under a LaceUp heading in Organization settings for LaceUp's team only. Your staff never see them.

  • Organizations lists every organization on LaceUp with its address, custom domain, whether it is public, whether payouts are connected, and its staff, players, seasons, tournaments and last activity.
